With many college semesters coming to a close, students find themselves procrastinating. You may even be procrastinating right now while you read this article! So, here is an account for how your finals week may have went or will be going as your final days left in school come to an end. Happy finals week!
Friday (before finals):
Last night to party with friends. Poor attempt at coping with finals, but hey, you can’t think about that biology exam anymore, you’re just numbing your pain.
Saturday Morning:
So. Much. Regret. *Goes back to sleep*
Saturday Afternoon:
The studying begins….
Saturday night:
You reward yourself for studying and consume so much pizza that it actually consumes you.
Sunday Morning:
Kelsey mentioned chocolate chip pancakes. How do you pass that up?
Sunday Afternoon, approximately 3 p.m.:
Pre-studying study break at Starbucks. You need the energy to get through the next few hours.
Sunday Night, approximately 6PM:
Haven’t done anything all day… Time to start cramming.
Monday morning:
You show up to your 8 a.m. final with about three hours of sleep, no coffee and only half of the information you studied readily available in your mind.
Monday night, approximately 11 p.m.:
Studying for seven hours straight, slightly brain dead and disoriented.
Tuesday Morning:
Those awful seven hours of studying paid off, definitely aced that exam.
Tuesday Night:
You’ve been studying all day and still don’t understand the majority of the terms. Screaming is absolutely inevitable.
Wednesday Afternoon:
Those two exams just stripped you of your pride. Your brain hurts. Today is not OK.
Wednesday Night:
Your friends are all done with their finals and you still have one more to go. They’re leaving and you’re the last one of the group left at school.
Thursday afternoon:
You didn’t study enough and you’re pretty sure that last final dropped your grade at least 10 percent.
Thursday Night:
You’ve finished packing and found out you passed all of your classes!
Friday Morning:
The fam bam is here, and you sadly wave good bye to your dorm room.
